Why would I want to buy a TACM III Flashlight over that of a competitor? |
1. TACM III Flashlights are produced and sold by a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Company.
2. Durability – Unbreakable. You can ride over it with a car and the worst that will happen is that you may get a scratch or two. It will not bend or be dented.
3. Price – For what you get, Brightness, Durability and Satisfaction, there are no other flashlights presently being marketed that gives you the bang for the bucks that TACM III Tactical Flashlights offer. The bottom line is don’t purchase more brightness than needed because it will cost the user not only in higher price, but also weight, size, battery life and bulkiness.
4. Life Expectancy – The only flashlight you’ll have to buy for the foreseeable future because of the quality, material and resulting durability that goes into making the TACM III Flashlight. Our flashlights have been in use for years without our customers having to replace their TACM III Flashlight.
5. Lamp Assembly – Our Xenon Lamp Assembly is designed and built to be used in high G-Force environments and to output a brilliant white light.
6. Xenon vs. LED – Xenon lamps are used as they provide a highly concentrated beam of light necessary in combat situations. The Xenon beam is greatly superior to the typical output of the average LED.
7. Brightness – 105.5 lumens of Brightness. No other flashlight of the same size, battery requirements and weight presently being made can match the brightness of the TACM III Flashlight.
8. Batteries – Uses two (2) three (3) volt Lithium batteries that provide about one hour twenty minutes (1:20) of continuous run time and at the same time, provides a shelf life of approximately ten (10) years.
9. Rechargeable vs. Non-rechargeable Batteries – Non-rechargeable batteries are used in TACM III Flashlights because they provide a constant linier level of current flow, i.e. same output level of brightness over time, whereas the output of rechargeable batteries decay exponentially with time and can never be recharged back to their original rated voltage level. The user, for critical operational conditions as the military confronts daily, need the assurance that their flashlight brightness remains constant for a reasonable period of time, so they can complete their mission with a reasonable level of safety.
10. Customer Product Satisfaction – Our customers, some who have owned the TACM III Flashlight for years, have all had positive comments to say about our products. We have received many comments of praise and thanks from military personnel station in the Middle East for providing a product that offers a life saving light that stands up to the everyday conditions are encountered during military operations.
11. Customer Business Satisfaction – Our customers are always telling us how much of a pleasure it has been for them to do business with TACM III, Inc. and how helpful our Company personnel have been in resolving any problems or questions they may have had.
12. Ease of Use –TACM III flashlights are built using the KISS principle and that is we keep is simple, but functional. There are no fantasy gadgets that can go wrong; it’s just an extremely bright tactical flashlight that provides all the light one needs to do any job one needs to do.
13. No Modifications Required – No matter what use the TACM III Flashlight is needed for, no modification need to be done to either the flashlight or the object to which it is attached.
14. Weight – Approximately 4 ounces with batteries installed. The lightest flashlight for its size and brightness on the market.
15. Material – We use a space age polymer, Delrin 150, to fabricate the flashlight. Delrin is one of the strongest materials on the market and is used to build the B1 Stealth Bomber. The tolerance specifications for Delrin are superior over Aluminum because there is less expansion during changes of temperature.
16. Size – Only 4.5 inches long with a body that’s 1 inch in diameter and a lens cap that’s 1.25 inches in diameter. The flashlight body size is such that it fits most firearm/weapon flashlight mounts presently manufactured and used by LEO and Military Agencies.
17. Rough Field Handling – Designed for worst case LEO/Military operational conditions. Will take the shock of a 10 foot drop, hitting a wall such as may occur during a search mission as well as the large G-Forces generated from firing of pistols, shotguns or assault weapons.
18. Accessories – TACM III offers many accessories such as a Remote Pressure or On/Off/Momentary switch, colored Snap-On lens caps such as I/R, Red, Blue and Opaque lens and a large family of Flashlight Mounts for all types of firearms.
19. Flashlight Mounts – A complete family of Flashlight Mounts are offered to allow attaching the TACM III Flashlight, or for that matter, any other manufacturer’s flashlights having a one (1) inch body diameter, to a wide family of firearms. Mounts offered are very cost effective, when compared to the prices of other manufacturer’s firearm flashlight mounts, and are available for most types of Pistols, Shotguns, and Assault Weapons such as the AR15/M16, M4, MP5 and AK47 and for Ballistic Shields.
20. Cycle Time – Under normal tactical flashlight usage, the flashlight is cycled off and on as needed in dimly lit environments to help identify potential treats. The on/off usage cycle could last from a few seconds to several minutes, but the total life of the batteries are determined by the accrued run times. When the batteries start reaching the end of their useful life, which is about 1 hour and 20 minutes (1:20), the brightness of the light will start decreasing. This is the indicator that the batteries need to be replaced.
21. Protection – The TACM III Flashlight provides a brightness output that temporarily blinds any threat that it is pointed at; therefore, giving the user a greater reaction time to engage the treat.
22. Interchangeability – All TACM III Flashlight parts from flashlight bodies and lens caps, to Remote Pressure and On/Off switches are interchangeable. This means that if one part of a TACM III flashlight has failed or has been damaged, or if you wish to change switch types or lens type, only that part needs to be replaced. This cuts replacement and repair cost to a minimum.
23. Quality – TACM III Flashlights and Flashlight Mounts are manufactured in the USA using the highest quality material available, such as Delrin, Aircraft grade Aluminum and stainless steel and are manufactured under tight quality control standards in order to provide the user with products that will have a long and useful life.
24. Usage – Usage of a flashlight determines how bright of a light you will need. For most operations, 105.5 lumens, which TACM III provides, is more than adequate. The bottom line, “Don’t buy more light than needed.” By the same token, “Don’t purchase an underpowered flashlight that will not do the job.”
